Amanda L. Brazis

Dr. Amanda L. Brazis, DPM, is one of the region’s most renown podiatrists, providing a full range of podiatric services and complex orthopaedic foot and ankle surgeries including total ankle replacements. Originally from the Northwest wide of Chicago, IL, Dr. Brazis graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Biology at Loyola University in Chicago where she then pursued medical school at Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. Following medical school, Dr. Brazis pursued a surgical residency at Rush University in Chicago focusing on Foot and Ankle Surgery and Reconstruction.

 

 

Following medical school and surgical residency, Dr. Brazis joined Southern Illinois Healthcare (SIH) in 2014 until joining the Orthopaedic Institute of Southern Illinois in 2021. Dr. Brazis and her husband, who is also a podiatrist in Southern Illinois, reside here with their two children.

 

 

Dr. Brazis continues to participate in research and training in surgical and non-surgical treatment of foot and ankle conditions.
